I’ve noticed a smell of diesel fuel coming from the near-side of the engine bay of my car (2014 CLS350d, 86k miles) when parked after a drive. Seems worse in cold weather, strangely.
It’s been like it for a year, and the main dealer recently noted a leaking red turbo seal as part of the checks during a service which they replaced. I thought this might fix it, but still smells.
Seems to be coming from the engine bay rather than underneath the car.
Any ideas? Injector seal?
