Hi,
Dirty seat belts, any idea of the best cleaner to bring them back to show room

Many Thanks

Well I have only cleaned the front belts once on a car I owned a couple of years ago,my belts had a few stains on them from I think coffee, they were like it when I bought the car,I pulled both belts out and used two mole grips to stop them going back,it was all I had maybe some other clamp would be a better choice,I used a can of fabric cleaner and a small scrubbing brush and I kept wiping the excess of with a damp cloth, most of the belt came up fine but a couple of stains needed to be gone over again,I left the belts out overnight, they were still a little damp in the morning so I got a hair dryer on them they cleaned up well .

Many thanks ive just done something very similar with carpet cleaner lots of dirt removed I’ll let dry and see the results

Some all purpose cleaner cut with warm water, spay and then use a small scrubbing brush or toothbrush. Don't soak or if you have one a steam cleaner and a microfibre. Gentle works every time.

I done cream ones by pulling them right out and clamping them out up at the top thus leaving the belt loose and then steeping in a basin sitting on the seat
I used a few things in the water including washing powder etc and a small scrubbing brush and kept changing the dirty water , I steeped mine for a few nights scrubbing every now and then . But mine were cream so very dirty . I then dried gently withna heat gun and while it was dry out side left the car out in the air . Upholstery cleaner with the brush attached was not bad .

Just pull them all the way out and shut the door on the so that the belts (not the buckle) are hanging out of the car, then use the jet wash to wash them while you're washing the car. Easy peasy.

Cleaning seat belts
Be carefull to avoid the more aggressive cleaners that contain ammonia or hypochlorite [ bleach] as these may weaken the fabric/stitching of the belt. I've always found cleaners that major on surfactants such as Vanish togther with a small nail brush to work well.
