Does anyone know of any free software that I can use to play back music with please? I have Windows Media player but was wondering if there was anything better?

It's my wedding soon and I plan to make up a number of playlists that will just run by themselves.

We've asked all our guests to supply their own top ten songs so everyone is guaranteed of hearing some personal hits. I've assembled these on my laptop and am ready to start sorting

Any ideas please pop-pickers?

I do the sound and mixing for my daughters dance company and have also done playlists for weddings and promotions. I always use this LINKY integrates itunes library and Mp3, beauty of this over itunes is you can control pitch etc.. and mix to how you want. however if it's just simple playlists then itunes is fine.

VLC Media Player (basic but will play anything)
Cyberlink PowerDVD (or at least one of their products plays music)

iTunes is pretty much Windows Media Player but by Apple - I don't see the need for both if you don't have any Apple merchandise

me neither itunes doesn't do anything WMP doesn't would rather use WMP myself but personal choice I guess

I use the latest WMP on 7 and have playlists on it... works fine.

You could always go for the Bang & Olufsen Beo player, it is similar to itunes or WMP but has a posher name. :thumb:
