Discs and pads

I need to replace the discs and pads on my 2016 EClass coupe. MB quote of £1000 seem expensive so does anyone know of a reputable garage in my area who may be a bit more reasonable ? Midlothian/Edinburgh area. Any advice would be helpful.

Have a word with your local garage and ask if you supply the parts will they fit them .

With respect, any reputable garage will not fit parts other than those it supplies themselves. Reasoning behind that is they would not be able to offer any guarantee on the work done.

My MB Indy does and so does my local garage . Obviously your experience is different .

My indi is happy to let me supply my own parts.

Stick your reg into the EuroCarParts website and see how much the discs + pads cost then factor in a coupe of hours labour (around £200 in total) for the fitting to gauge any quotes you get to have them replaced.

Just done basic quick search and the Brembo discs are £118 for the pair and the pads are £75.

I had all four discs, two rear calipers and a set of pads for each corner for half of that quote, all done by my independent mechanic ( Using MB parts )
