The hunt for a (slower) replacement for the E55K continues...
Gentlemen, what think you of this as a proposition? A 2004 (804 build) E500 Elegance estate, very full history, genuinely very good condition, in dark green with beige leather, and 110K miles on it.
It comes with (scabby-ish OE) 16" wheels with winter tyres, and a new set of replica AMG 18" wheels with new mid-range tyres.
It's relatively poverty-spec, though; no sat-nav/COMAND, no parking sensors, no sunroof, no heated seats, no Harman Kardon. (The full datacard is with my recent VIN request).
The price is £6k. I'd have said that was a bit steep, until that red one that sold recently on eBay.
I quite like the car overall, but it's poorly-specified, and I definitely would have to have aftermarket rear parking sensors fitted.
Any opinions?
