Does a C Class Auto have a DMF?

TBD
I have an A4 manual 170PS and after 15K miles of sensible driving (I'm not your stereotypical audi driver) I had the infamous clutch judder. I had the DMf and clutch changed under warranty, but swear that I can start to feel the same thing happening. Its a known A4 weakness but so soon! I swear its not my driving style.

I considered the C class, but the A4 interior won it for me. C Class AMG Sport Plus exterior is better IMO.

Anyways, I'm now really fed up with it and am seriously looking to go for the C Class CDI 250 Auto. Does it use a DMF? I know that Audi's 4-Stronic/DSG uses a DMF.

Thanks

It's a problem on the A4 and A5 and the DMF was superseded by a replacement part that does not give the issues most DMF's were not going past 20K. Theres also one of the Audi sport outfits selling an even better DMF that is reportedly problem free after 60k

As far as I know all C class manuals use DMF and if you think the Audi one is bad to do the C class takes you into a whole new world of pain and financial ruin.

Even Porsche now skim the DMF on major services

Not the best invention of the 20th century me thinks

BMW's have the same problem, but I think it's limited to manuals only.
