Hello Everyone,

Am looking for an om602 bellhousing to connect my om602 engine with 722.6 gearbox, but my searches don't seem to be getting me anywhere!:wallbash:
If anyone had any ideas I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

I know this is of no help , but here are a few images of an F that I took a few months back . I was visiting an O'Reilly's in California , it was parked up (broken apparently) waiting for a part.

A bloke came in asking if it was mine as he wanted to buy it ! I am seeing more of these older style un restored pick up's each time I return to the USA. Good luck with the search.

Thanks, but no joy.

Have tried Dronsfields, Tristar, Various van Breakers, Ebay and nothing yet.

Although apparently I can't PM anyone until I've hit the 30 post count!
Would you be so kind as to possibly message me?

Thank you, I really appreciate that.
It's going into a 1981 Ford F250 camper, I have a om602/662 engine (from a daewoo musso) and a 722.6 waiting to go into her.

OK great!
that engine is popular in my Gwagen circle of friends.. I assume you are aware, the 722.6 is an electronically controlled gearbox, there are aftermarket options for controlling it.
I will post you a message when I get a reply back from him.. he is currently building a M113 V8 engined Gwagen 'Wolf' (military open top) he sells a lot of Mercedes Gwagen/ OM602/603 parts too.

My friend does not have a bellhousing.. He says there are a lot of different 722.6, they should all come with a bellhousing already attached..
The 606 had the 722.6 as an option in a lot of cars, which would be different to say an m113 v8 722.6.
There are 722.6 ( with std bellhousing) that bolt straight onto the OM662 like on the 210 E300D .
This is where to search.

Hope this helps.

Thanks john. Will get on that. Really appreciate your help.

Happy to help! :)

Several of my friends are running (manual trans) OM662a/606a/602a/603a engines (in their Gwagens) so if you get stuck, along the way I may be able to point you in the right direction.

Would love to see some pics of your build.

Regards

John
