Does this look like a good working engine to anybody??

 Surely nobody would be mad enough to pay the asking price, or any price for that pile of scrap.:fail

In a word NO. It has no fuel injection distributor, lines and associated bits,oh and air box.:D

That looks like it has seen better days, if your after a 560 v8 drop me a pm.

I'm sure there has been something else ludicrously priced from this seller in the last few months. I recognise the Victorian bath in his other auctions... Thought it was the old SEC that had been damaged by cattle, but that was another seller...

The engine itself could be good, as it very difficult to judge from the exterior. But as this one has been exposed to the elements for a considerable time I reckon most of the ancillaries should be viewed as scrap.

Then again strip the engine to just the block and heads, paint the exhaust manifolds & block, clean the inlet manifold along with power coating the r/covers - bingo a fully recon motor!

In a nutshell, I'd just contact Carat 3.6. Job done.

I'd never judge an engine by how it looks.

look great, I will order it

PSA if people on ebay will buy a cold sprout from xmass dinner ,they will buy this engine .Looking at it i would say £100 the limit ,just for rebuild .But break for parts and your looking at welll above £500
