Is there a foolproof method of removing dog hairs from the fabric/carpets in cars?
My vacuum cleaner attachment has those red brush strips on it and it does a decent job but I was wondering if you detailers out there had a secret weapon for the complete removal of the doggy detritus.
Many thanks,
Tony

Give them a rubber gloving...

Seriously, a bowl of water and a rubber glove.

Rubber gloves, as DM says, work well. As an alternative, try this together with the vacuum cleaner: Pet Hair Remover. It did the trick getting Labrador hair out of my C43 wagon

Hope that helps,

Mike

Depends on the hairs.

Good suggestions above, but short hairs (Jack Russell, for example) can work their way into the fabric and are practically impossible to remove other than one by one with tweezers

Duct Tape (as ever..) is your friend.

Roll around your hand with sticky side out and dab away, picking up anything on fabric. Job done.

You are looking for Mr Sticky.

Best thing I ever put in my glovebox.

The adv. over the type posted above is that these do not need refills, it's the physical properties of the material that makes it sticky. I've had mine for months and it is still extremely tacky to the touch after a quick rinse under the tap. Amazing material.

A damp sponge will collect them all in one spot usually. But to be honest there is no total answer, except a Mexican hairless dog.

Excellent suggestions from all, thank you.
Mexican hairless lol
I don't think my greyhounds would appreciate another dog.
Amazon seem to do those sticky rollers.

Tony
