My facelift W124 estate has LED's on the front door handle and boot.(cant remember about side passenger but i think it doesn't)

Walked past a BMW yesterday in the dark where all 4 handles had a light shine when he unlocked the car. Think it was a new 3 series but could be a new 5 series.

Is this available on many models of mercs, bmw's etc.

I've got puddle lights under my wing mirrors that light up when I lock/unlock the car but nothing on the exterior handles.....

The Audi A8 and the BMW 7 has the puddle lights on the door handles,as an optional extra.

Off Topic: Brabus do side skirts/sills that have puddle lights on them (similar to the size of fog lamps in bumpers and light up the ground) - These look very good....

These LED's are purely to show that the car has been unlocked (green) and locked(red). (i.e. you would still put your foot into any puddles which are lurking around for unsuspecting victims)

So i guess it stands alone as the only one (so far) that has lights on the handles purely for this purpose. (cool)

3 series definitely has them - got in a clients the other day - quite snazzy

surprised the 5 doesn't! probably a BMW optional extra (isn't everything)

I 'think' it's standard on 3 series, newer model
as is, traction, stability, brake, and brake cornering control, run flat tyres,
