The doors lock/unlock when I am on the drivers side, there wouldn't be two receivers would there,or could it just be a brocken wire behind it.

Alan

There should always be one IR receiver at the driver's door. Many cars have an IR receiver on the passenger door too but not all. In addition to these you have an RF receiver (a single one, the position depends on the car model). The RF connection allows you to open/close doors further away than the IR, it is not directional like IR, you can even be around the corner. As mentioned earlier, if your windows do not open/close with the key from the driver's side but they do on the opposite side, the IR receiver at the driver's door must be broken. Doors are still opened also from the driver's side but not with the IR function but the RF connection.

Hey, I've just tried the open/close window thingy on my car.... IT WORKS!!

Thanks for that tip!

Summer opening/closing works via Keyless Go as well. It's undocumented but I've found that, with my Keyless Go card in my pocket, if I press the lock/unlock button on my car door handle (either side) and open the door latch just a tad, that activates Summer/Opening closing.

Works to close any windows/sun roof that are open when locking the car too.

P.S - I'd love a PDF of my manual, much more convenient searching for stuff using "Find" and I wouldn't have to mess with that stupid landscape format either.
