Car
C320 CDi Sport.
Is it possible to find out whether a vehicle has one fitted from the datacard? if so what should I be looking for?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry I can't answer your question but it made me wonder if your local MOT station will know how to check given the upcoming changes in legislation.

My C320 CDi is the same model as yours on a 57 plate.
It does not have a DPF. If yours does, it will be stated on the datacard.
If it isn't, your car won't have a DPF.

I have looked at my data card, and can't see anything listed. One less thing to worry about then!
Edit: I think it is option code 474 if a dpf is fitted.

How do you look up your datacard, i have not got a clue, thanks.

If you have a dpf fitted, I would have expected to see the dpf emblem warning light on the dash to illuminate briefly (along with all the other warning lights) during the light test procedure everytime you turn on the ignition..

I got mine from my dealer, but there are folk on here who have the means to do the same if you supply your VIN number. Just ask.

I suppose that will work, does your car do this?
