Since I got my car in March 2012 I have been invited on three driving days. Two by Audi and one by BMW. I have yet to be invited on a Mercedes one. Poor marketing strategy by MB or is it a case of they've had my money and so the jobs done?
You would think that they would want to encourage brand loyalty especially as I have enquired about both the new E and the CLS s/b.
Maybe MB don't do as many events but that would seem a little strange.
Opinions?

I won an M Power driving experience at the Goodwood Moving Motorshow this year. I called my local MB dealers saying it would be great if I could drive a C63 there too as that's really what I'd like next. They apparently investigated whether that's possible but came back saying MB didn't have C63s being driven by customers there. And to be fair that seemed to be true. They did offer a test drive at the dealers though so I was more than happy with their service as usual.

I kind of agree with you that it would be nice if MB did this and it would be a good marketing opportunity but I don't know if that's just me selfishly wanting to play around in their cars :D

Went on a Volvo day at Bruntinthorpe a couple of years ago that was quite mundane. :)

I'd expect BMW or Audi would be a little more exciting.
