Got some quotes for cleaning the light grey interior of my C Class over the last few weeks. People seem to want about £45 just for the interior, which for cleaning a pretty clean car seems a bit steep.
Anyway I was in Halfords and saw Turtlewax Interior1 Dry clean for car interiors.
Basically its a 400ml aerosol can with a brush on the end like many others. The difference is that unlike the others this one leaves the surface nearly dry and it also works as a cleaner.
I hoovered out the car really well, then spray foamed the interior a bit at a time and followed the instructions exactly. Once I had finished and wiped with a slightly damp cloth, I let it to dry for a further 10 min and then re hoovered the car with an upholstery brush starting at the begining again.
With one can I did all the carpets, headlining, seats and door panels and the result is amazing the car is like new and I really mean like new!
It took 2-3 hours, cost £4.49 and is brill. Just thought I'd let you know. :bannana:
