Be a bit more creative with the text, colour it and increase the size a bit, makes it easier to read.
Don't put how much you paid for it originally.
Add more pictures, show it with the boot open, hood down etc.
The car looks dirty/wet - give it a clean, chamois and maybe a quick polish - make it look as good as possible.
Make a point of the service history - full Audi? Give dates, mileage, what has been done if anything.
Hide the reg number.

You're welcome to take a look at my current ad on E-Bay if you want some inspiration - although I think I have started to clutter it a bit!

Best of luck

Looks ok to me Tan. I would have added my mobile number and made some comment about payment and collection. I would def of removed my number plate from the photo's. Sold cars on ebay in past with no probs.

More photographs and higher resolution would help too.

What is the actual Audi colour name....this may be important to some buyers.

The advert is listed as able to post item to anywhere in the world. I imagine you want to restrict this to UK buyers only.

The advert is timed to end at Wednesday 10am. Ideally it should end at a more prime time where people are home watching their Ebay auctions.

if I may add my bit. What I look out for in an eBay ad is:

- Good description
- offer to send more pictures if required
- list of full service history - date/miles/agent/type of service
- any other maintenance work recently completed - brakes/pads/discs/cambelts etc
- Condition / make of tyres - how much tread.
- maybe another little enticement such as - happy to re MOT the car if it reaches the reserve, full tank of petrol included.
- consider lising as a classified Ad with best offer too - another £15. ( I prefer classified ads any)
- I would also use all 12 pics

I set the advert to be UK only, I don't know why its shows those postal locations.

I started the advert this morning for three days, so I guess I can't ammend that now... can I?

Reload the images and add a few more, bonnet open, boot open etc.

Use the supersize picture pack option, as already mentioned I like to see larger images.

Increase the font size to 14 point, at that size it's nice an easy to read without looking like preschool kiddy books.

I think, though not 100% sure that you can change the auction end time as long as there are no bidders....anyone else know about this?

Also, change the title to say 3.0 Sport Multitronic. Maybe use the optional second line of the ad heading.

I am going to wash the car tomorrow and retake the pictures, the original pictures that I took were over the 4Mb limit that e-bay set, so I had to reduce the image quality.

As it's a convertible show it with hood up and then hood down -- I know you need the weather to be right to do this....but being a convertible is your no1 selling point.

By the way - think the dark blue with cream nappa and black carpets & dash etc is a great colour combo..

Good luck..

What the others have said

tell them the car is advertised elsewhere so you reserve the right to pull the auction at any time - OK, it kind of contravenes eBay rules but they seem to ignore it on motors ads.

This may just push people into making an offer so make sure your contact details are in the ad

Get more pictures on there and offer to send high resolution pics to anybody that asks

Don't try to sell a car when you really need to :)

Be prepared for an increased number of 'watchers' !

BE CAREFUL OF SCAMMERS!!

Have had about ten so far - sometimes the e-mail you get looks 100% genuine but then the reply isn't quite right!

Probably the most important bit - when you sold the SL you had this trouble?

Pistonheads is a better bet IMO - have bought and sold the last 4 cars on there relatively quickly. A feedback of 8 on eBay isn't going to help for some prospective buyers.

Though I have yet to have a single enquiry through PH! And after the lovely job you did on my wheels too eh?!! :D

I still have an offer for the vehicle on the table, its just a case of trying to get the most that I can for it.

I may be out of touch with the sort of cars I have had, but where is the advert? The wheels should sell the car on their own! ;) :D

I have added some more photos and the bidding going quite well, is it normal for the highest bidder to have not made any contact other than the bid? It is generally understood that they are bidding to buy rather than to view then decide, isn't it? Or do i need to state this?
