E class diesel 2019

Hello everyone! I am new
Just bought e class 2019 diesel from mercedes Northampton and I am bit worrying.The car has 14k miles

When the engine is warm on slow engine motion i can hear strange noise like gr gr gr and it's only on D and when I start moving or go very slow and take my feet from accelerator. It's very far for me to go back to dealer.... Maybe this is normal?

Difficult to say without hearing the noise.... is there another Mercedes-Benz dealer, nearer to you? You can take the car to any dealer to look into the issue under warranty. There are quite a few MB dealers around London, from Temple Fortune in the North to Brooklands in the south etc.

Does it not do it when its cold, reverse or manual or sport mode ? Only in Drive ?

When is cold is ok. When engine is about 80 C and every time when I start mowing on D never when park or on N.

Strange, surely can't be transmission as would do it from cold, and it's low mileage.
Maybe front brakes ?
