E-class H/L Adjustment.

Hello All.

My RH dip headlight seems to be set too high. The light is a lot brighter to look at, when checking the reflection in a shop window the other day. Also, other road users occasionely flash me. I have found the adjuster above the light, (plastic hex shaped), but which way do you turn it ? There is nothing in the manual . My previous W202 had the directions moulded in next to the adjuster.

Hi there. I'm no authority on this but i have a 99 W210 with a vacuum system that controlls the main headlamp level - not the inside parking lights. I'm sure there was a thread/post on this somewhere. you may wish to check for 2 pipes behind the unit - one is purple and the other i think is grey - just a thought one may have came loose? - as stated i am no authority.
