E.M.L. after fuel filter change.

I have just changed Air Oil and Fuel filter on my C Class W205 Diesel Automatic 64 plate. Now the engine management light is on, it did not do this at the last change and I have used like for like fuel filter (Bosch). Has this happened to any one on here and what was the solution ? Cheers.

have any OBD scanner ? Just to reset fault code might help.

It may have picked up low fuel rail pressure when priming.
You may find it will reset itself after a couple of starts.
Assuming it's running well enough.

I changed the air filter on the wife’s B200 yesterday, the EML came on straight after, then after resetting the code I discovered the air intake pipe from the filter housing had become detached. It’s tight in there and I didn’t notice, after reattaching the pipe the fault cleared and now running perfectly.
