E service on CLS 55

Hello, car is due an E service, am planning on doing myself, what does it include?

I was thinking probably

Engine oil/filter
both airfilters
Combination filter
Fuel Filter
Spark plugs

Honestly, check your service history.

I do my own servicing and started off from the previous paperwork. If you have no service history then start fresh with the majority of items.

Good luck with the fuel filter. Not really a serviceable item in these cars. Officially, you need to buy an entire sending unit which is over £400, and a bit of a pain in the ass to change. You can just change the filter alone (which is very cheap), but you'll need to open the sending unit which was never designed to be opened.

That Sendor unit Opens up fine, I have one and have cleaned it all out, Replaced the old filter with new one for future use.

But Yes Mb will try and flog you the whole unit!
