Just recently developed a couple of niggling problems with her. Not suprising as I am clocking up 600 miles plus a week so things do deteriorate quicker.
First one....developed a water leak, but cannot trace where its coming from. Not a prob yet as its going in to be looked at tomorrow.
Second one, which is immediately worrying. Just went out and fitted a new MAF sensor. Now you may recall that in the past I had fitted an after market air filter which was 'charged' with oil. In other words a reusable one.
This apparently causes problems with the MAF as oily deposits build up on the sensor causing malfunctions. So I cleaned it up a couple of times and carried on. Eventually last week running got quite bad so decided to change it completely.
Went to fit it this morning and inside the MAF was loads of oil.
