e200 w124 uneven tickover

hi all my 1988 e200 carat ticks over slighty lumpy, iv changed the plugs, cleaned the connections in the leads, changed the air filter, rota arm & distribitor cap but still no joy, ant idea's?

carb or EFI? idle might be set too low if its carb, if its electronic a new battery may help, my mums 230 with EFI had a ******ed battery, ran lumpy at idle, occasionally stalling, new battery and it was all good

Hi, its a carb model, dont think the batterys causing it, other than the lumpyness at tickover it starts and drives as it should, dont think its running rich either, its just started doing it over the last couple of weeks, seems worse when cold out.thanks for you input thou
