Good evening all, I recently bought a 2011 E220 W212 diesel convertible, 118k miles. It had been sitting for a year or so, it started straight up first time with a booster pack. The roof makes an effort to undo the front clicks as if attempting to open & the storage compartment partially opens. I have an iCarsoft CR Pro+ diagnostics which told me that the roof control module is faulty & actually gave me a part number. (2079011500) I have bought a used replacement but I cannot find the part location on my car. I did read that it was underneath the fuse box on the right of the boot area, does not appear to be on this car. Looks like someone had been poking around before me, there is a few fixings missing that retain the boot carpet. I have also fitted a new stop / start battery.
