There is a W220 which I am interested in. Should not change, but the V8 is calling out quite loudly.

Sept 96 (P) registered. I am the third owner.
Mileage is about 240,000 miles. The car was clocked (I did not know this).
MOT records reveal that the mileage was 196k miles in June o6, 208k miles in June 07, and 168k miles in June 08 when I bought it. Assuming it did 12k miles between June 07 and June 08, the mileage in June 08 would have been 220k miles. Since I bought the car, it has done about 20k miles.
No service history until I bought the car for £2700.
Since I have had the car, I have spent about £3500 fixing and improving it. Everything works, and the engine and gearbox is running well. I did a 4000 mile journey in Europe Sept/Oct 09 with no problem at all.
It is 2.3 litre 4 cylinder engine, is automatic and does about 30mpg on the motorway if you cruise along at around 75mph.
It has climate control (fancy a/c), electric sunroof, memory and orthopaedic electric seats, mirrors and steering column. Also has 3rd row seats the back for kids up to 140cm tall (my nieces favourite spot).
Metallic mid blue with beige leather.
It has rust but most (except for 1 or 2 little spots) have been treated (14 months ago) with POR15, and so far have not reappeared.
MOT to June 2010, and road tax to end Oct 2010.
It needs new rear tyres (245/45 17)
