Last week I stuck in queuing traffic on one of those hot days here in Scotland.
Outside temp was 32c and had my AC on. Wasn't long before I had a low coolant warning and some steam from the engine. Soon I was out of coolant and had to pull over due to steam. Recovered by green flag. I drive a 59 e250 blue tech, the car now has a constant water from the underneath of the car when you fill up the coolant tank. The car hasn't been driven or started since. The car is up on ramps and have removed the appropriate covers to get a better look but can't see where it's leaking. Any thoughts people?

It probably wants to be up to temp then the system will pressurise and you should see your leak.

Fill it up with water. Run it up to temp then have a nose. Most likely to be a hose if it is pouring out.

I will try this. With the engine cold it's just a constant drip.

I removed the two water pipes that are connected next to the fuel filter, on removing one of these there was a huge gush of water from wherever my leak is from. Could do with a coolant circuit diagram to see where the coolant water goes once I put some in the coolant expansion tank.

With your limited knowledge I would certainly advise getting an independent to look at. Over heating engines can amount to some serious financial hardships.
