E250 Cooling system

Can anyone tell me or sketch a simple diagram of where the coolant goes from the expansion and leads to the back of the engine through the thin pipework. Have an engine coolant leak from the back of the engine but high up in the engine.
When the engine is cold and you fill up the coolant tank it eventually works it way round to where the leak is occurring. driving me nuts. Please help.

Is looking from the front of the car? The coolant Circles back along a rubber and alloy pipe
to the rear of the engine.

Another with the same issue, on the same model car.

Initially, thought it to be the "made from chocolate" water pump but when on the ramp and warm, it transpires that it is closest to the bulkhead.

Noticed, at 60mph over many, many miles - lost very little, At 70mph almost none, at 80 needed a top up in less than 1000 miles but at a 100 (whilst on my test track) the level fell a lot quicker.

Looks like a PIA (Pain In As*) job to be honest.

Suspect that it is well known to MB.
