E270 battery

Just thought I would write a post as I bought a new battery for my 54 plate E270 today, i got a range of prices from different places, Halfords £175, Eurocarparts was upto £192, my local motor factor was £145 but the cheapest place to get it from was Mercedes for some reason, it was only £121, the battery has done well, it has been on since the car was new.
I got a voltage regulator to for £54 as Merc seems to be the only place i could get hold of one.

You will also have a backup battery in the engine bay under the pollen filter housing. I would suggest you change this with a mercedes one also. Around £55 from your local dealer.

I had a bosch s4 brand new . laid about , from my x type jag . I stuck that in the boot on my w211 , turns over a dream now . £ 68 .
