I went with my son to MB Northampton to see the pothole damage to two front wheels and tyres following a new diff not solving a noisy rear end. The wear to the near side rear was down to 3mm on the inner part but was around 6mm on the outer after seven thousand miles. This indicates a camber angle causing the premature wear and they are doing a four wheel alignment check.
Whilst under the car l was surprised to see the rear subframe with two apertures for bushes to hold the diff, but only one bush on the nearside fitted. Can anybody confirm that it should have one or two as l suspected. Any advice gratefully received.
