E320 aventguard 03, where is negative?

Hi, new to forum. Having trouble starting my e320 estate (03 plate). I have found the positive terminal in the engine to jump start batt but cant find the earth/ negative terminal. Can someone direct me please. Thanks

Any bare metal will do.

Assuming it's a W210, as above but the official one should be under a black rubber protective cover, not far from the +ve point

03 will be a W211.

03 was the crossover year. If it's a saloon, most likely be a W211. If it's an estate, most likely be a W210

If it's a 211 there's a brass peg on the strut top.

Yes, as I said above, any bare metal piece will do...and that one is perfect...it is an earthing point after all.
