E320 Remap & DYNO

An E320 we had in on the weekend for a Remap & DYNO @ MSL Performance!!

Stock:
239.58 Bhp
458.00 Ft Lbs Torque

Tuned:
286.38 Bhp
513.72 Ft Lbs Torque

Some impressive gains made here

Given those figures it would be interesting to see what the I6 would put out after a map.

The stock figure is high from the start which is good news. Should be 224 so maybe merc weren't very accurate with there figures.

Mercs can be like this.

Our Il6 dynod at 225 bhp before the map and 255 after.
Our E63 Dynod at 580 bhp standard...

The year is not mentioned but don`t the 07 onwards have slightly more torque which is also related to bhp ?

It does go to show that the std. OM642 is around 224 but other identical models must be merely a map change?

So therefore remaps are good!
