e320cdi remap

hi new member today so sorry if this question has been asked already!
I have just had my e320cdi remapped by a local tuning company,car is now very much better all round.
my question is when the car is serviced will the dealer be able to tell it has been remapped,or will their equipment reset it to the factory settings.
The job involved removing the ecu from the car and then removing the chip and reprogramming it!

The dealer can't tell, other than driving the car, or reset the map.

It would be interesting to have the EGT measured and the smoke output as both could prove to be a problem if too high.

Hi Thanks for the reply,i have not noticed any more smoke whilst driving when i put a power link box on a pervious car this was the first thing i noticed!
