E320cdi Remap

I guess the problem is that everyone needs to be in the same place and each remap can take a couple of hours.

Yes the problem is they want us in one place so even though it only takes about 30 mins to do each one it is hard to co-ordinate if people live far away.....Maybe a group map at a meet would be the way to go......!! Get them down to £150 if we get 15 cars........!!

Had mine done by SR Performance. Very impressed, bit more poke, and a bit more economy. Steve was a really top chap, chatted through all the options and offered to put the original map back if not satisfied.

Celtic Tuning did my 1st e320cdi which was the il6 204 and claimed bhp was upto 264bhp. And, i would say it was correct as my car was so different to drive !! 😎👍……. I also added a hybrid conv, c30amg injs and v6 intercooler after this and again was a different car !! Im now on an 04 320cdi as the 1st i think i buggered by not having the bigger injs rescaled as they dont actually need coding. Running standard injs but darkside FMIC and the hybrid turbo from the old car along with a remap from black-code (FOC) as i was a franchise for 3 months but, imoo, i think this remap is not as good !! Im wanting to fit 4 bar map sensors(ready to fit) and the c30 injs and one last final fine tuned remap(c30 pump, if needed) and see what happens…….. 🙈

That's a healthy 11 year thread bump !

I had a 'Billy' try and tell me his 2009 W211 E320 CDI was a twin turbo with 294 hp as standard , lol .

Funny thing is he looked like Boycie , RIP .

I know it’s not the same marque but I had a caddy van remapped, 102 bhp to 148 bhp and something similar on the the torque and removed the Rev limit, transformed the van into what I really wanted (had it new in 2014) now drives perfect, took it for an MOT and asked the tester about the emissions and he said they were better than last year :) (it’s on the paperwork somewhere) I wouldn’t hesitate to have a remap after my experience but take your time to find a reputable garage with plenty of recommendations and feedback…best £300 I’ve spent on the van in 7 years

Oops…just noticed it was on old thread after taking the time to read all the posts…doh
