That seems to remove your 'up to temperature and smooth' theory.

I didn't see you reply on engine (even gearbox) mounts.
Pretty sure your engine mounts will be oil filled. Has anyone looked for evidence of leakage?
Does the engine sit even. Often the cooling fan can be seen to be off centre if 1 mount is shot.

I've booked it in at a place in Warrington so hopefully they can find out what's wrong. Thanks for the reply

Maybe it could even be snapped or loose swirl flap rods, might be worth a look.

Thank you all for the replies! I noticed a bit of white smoke on start up too. Like I said it's booked in a specialist in Warrington. Every reply is much appreciated
