E36 AMG Coupe on ebay

After the recent thread on Bits G's wonderful E36 Coupe, here we have a higher mileage example.

Silver with black leather, it has no bodykit and backward lettering.
It still looks excellent, however!

I've always wondered actually how much more power these had compared to say an E280 or an E320?

Approx 260/70 bhp.

Iirc 320 was 211 bhp ish not sure on 280.

Maybe not now however with only 24 RHD ones ever made is there an argument that they will ultimately exceed 500E prices on the basis of the old supply/demand equation?

That said it could remain the case that the V8 cachet/performance will forever overshadow them.

For what its worth I dont like the silver/black combo on the coupe (though I like it on a saloon - No; I dont understand why i think this either?) and would not pay the money asked

agree with you regarding the exclusivity factor, one for the collectors I think.

Still to be the ultimate factory W124 I think you need a V8. Perhaps that fact that I have been lusting after a Mercedes V8 specifically the 500E since riding in my bosses way back in 97, might just sway me....

The E36 has the same power as C36 around 270-275
