E500 AMG ... hmmm

well it is just an e500 with quad exhausts and has not evem got the AMG bodykit.
looks like an elegance as well.

'Just a E500'

mmmmm still a nice motor though

MODEL: Mercedes E500
ENGINE: 5.0-liter V8
HORSEPOWER/TORQUE: 302 hp @ 5,600 rpm/339 lb-ft @ 2,700-4,250 rpm
TRANSMISSION: 5-speed automatic
0 – 60 in 5.8 seconds
164mph in the unlimited version

If it didn't have the quad pipes its a bit of a sleeper.

:)

    :D :D :D

Never heard of that before, SL 500AMG? :)

Sorry,
I'm in awful pain and couldn't resist having a little smile.

Not sure I like those exhausts but each to their own, the car looks quite nice but I would always fit the very nics, subtle Mercedes-Benz OEM mud-flaps.

Couldn't see any AMG badges and we all know it is not that model and maybe the advert has that wording just to pick up the different search engines? It is a nice looking E500 Elegance and looks priced to sell?

regards
John

What about Ave (average) mileage, 87k on a 53 plate seems more than average?

Should be more like 60ish K (assuming 15k miles / year)

Anyone thinking of buying it should check how much a second key will cost as they are a very expensive item.

The only thing on that car that's AMG is the exhaust, I'd be very weary about the 7 speed box. The spec is low for a 500 model elegance, there's no heated or cooled seats, no parking sensors, no satnav and no comfort seats. The mileage is high and there are better deals around at the moment. The date of first registration was October 07.

I think your being slightly unfair

Date of first registration was 30/10/03 unless you know otherwise?

I think this person obtained the car on the 1/11/07 and yes 7G was available in 03 :)

I agree,

For the money, the spec and millage it looks a lot of car.

Its has most things people will want, The heated seats although nice are most needed in a convertible, it has a roof which is a rare option, Parking sensors can be retrofitted relatively cheaply (rear).

I havn't looked at values at all but I'm guessing that would have costed £40K plus new? so £12K for what your getting will be a nice car for someone.

:)

That is a lot of car for the money.

well at that sort of mileage, trade would be 8.5-9 and around 10.5-11 for retail.. so about right for ebay..
