E500 W212 Trickle Charge

Hello chaps
I've not used the E500 cab since the surprising Murano arrived 2 months ago, as such the battery has died and I need to pop it on a trickle charger.
The manual hasn't helped so before I assume it's the battery terms is there anything I need to know?

Hi Dave, is your e500 a 5.5 lire or 4.7? If 4.7 does it have a ticking noise under braking and steering?

It was a 5.5 it's in Scotland now probably getting far more use than I ever gave it. Cheers
