easy entry

On my R230 Sl the easy entry function doesnt move the steering wheel and seat to its total extent possible. Does anyone know if its possible to reset these parameters so the sterring wheel goes in & up to its full extent and the seat goes completely back when the key is removed? ( I must be getting more portly!)

Different model I know but had the same problem. Had this function on my menu but it did'nt work. Took it to the local dealer and young lad checked it on Star and the function just needed re-setting. Was'nt charged but dropped the lad a few quid.

i think you will find that the easy entry has been taken off the cars regarding the retraction of the seats as there is a court case going on in america about this i think miss it on my gl and my clk regards jon hope it helps

not sure whether that happened or whether its a copyright case against bmw just cannot remember
