EGR (again)

Seem to have been quite a few threads about this so decided to have a poke around the 320Cdi engine with help of pics. from Russian site linked earlier.

Discover that I have an "exhaust gas heat exchanger" just downstream of the EGR valve, (which BTW takes the heat exchanger count up to 7, being intercooler, Radiator, Aircon heat exchanger, power steering cooling loop, oil cooler, ATF cooler and now this one) but cannot immediately see where the exhaust gas is tapped off from.

Any ideas?

Look at the inlet manifold gasket. There are 12 ports and an extra two at the rear. Likewise with the exhaust manifold, there are 6 ports and another connection at the rear. The rear one connects the exhaust manifold to the inlet manifold via the cylinder head
