Please help.

I have a 2002 E320 CDI and injectors were changed and the car is working fine. However, since then I am unable to open the boot electronically, have no rear, fog nor reversing lights. The fuses and relays have been checked but seem to be ok. I thought it may just need reprogrammed as the battery was disconected.

might sound like a silly question but have you checked all the looms and made sure nothing was disconnecting by mistake that shouldnt have? Also, not sure about this on mercs but my old vw's always had an OBD port and i had a diagnostics tool on my laptop which told me of any problems...any chance you could check this out?

They probably made the rear SAM fail when incorrectly disconnecting and connecting the battery. The SAM would not need any coding if the battery went flat. Think of how often cars would need reprogramming if that happened every time the battery is disconnected or runs flat.

Did the workshop code the injectors? Not all CDIs need this but most of the latest have a part calibration info to be coded.

As I don't know a lot about cars, sorry for my ignorance but what does SAM stand for? I don't think they would have disconnected any of the wiring looms, but I will check.
