If you have no transmission service history book your car into a local MB independent for a transmission service , buy one of these and hand it to the mechanic.
The service is a DIY thing if you have the tools/skills/time . When I got my 2006 car with no transmission service history I was in full possession of the first 2 criteria but sadly lacking in the 3rd.
I just paid my indy to do it .
