Emblem alarm Help please

Hi folks
I mananged to buy item#7928180949 off the bay.

I was going to connect to the earthing door switches to connect it to the alarm but i dont seem to have the plunger type switches.

My question is :

What triggers the Mb alarm?,Is it voltage drop via the interior lights (therefore a switch some where)or just the ultra sonics in the door pillars. Any idea's where i could tap into the alarm system?? Is there a Earth switch in the bonnet area?

PM me if you feel the info would jeopardize a security issue

mystery switch/sensor

Can any one tell be what this switch/sensor is for.

Anti tilt alarm? bonnet alarm sensor ? or perhaps self leveling sensor ?
Its on the bonnet at the rear near the diagonstic socket.

Taking a guess at where you took that picture from, I always thought it's the wiring for the heated washer jets?

Thinking of spraying your emblem thiefs with hot water?

Just sharpen the insides of the star with a fine file. Anyone who puts their fingers inside to get leverage to pull it off will be taught a lesson. Or connect it to a high current.
