engine management light

Hi there new to all this I drive a c180 kompressor I have just had it all serviced and the engine management light is on everything was changed all filters , spark plugs oil etc I had it put on a diagnostic machine and it says mixture adaption of control stop and the number 41 was mentioned somewhere could anyone help me out as to what this means before i take it to a mercedes garage

what years is the car

i bet its a newish one with a 271 engine if so best thing is take it to a good mercedes indi or a mercedes dealer

the fault could be many things i would hate to start listing them i need more info

It a 04 plate and has only done 49000 miles as i said was put on a diagnostic machine at my work and it said all this stuff getting it checked out by a mercedes specialist on wed he thinks it may just be a sensor will keep this post updated as to what it is incase it happens to someone else

Iam also getting checked out the srs light that keeps coming on and goes off when someone sits on passenger seat i have an idea of it being the pad in the seat does anyone know how much this costs to get done

Might even be the split breather hose, easy fix.

Or the oil in the wiring loom, not too bad.

Or the timing chain problems.............

Id get the timing chain changed as well , the chain is too light and will stretch . Mine did and destroyed the cam sprockets ,these cost over 700 euro each .

Im still fighting with her ! I pressure test the coolant system and found that the trermostate housing is leaking under pressure , the O ring had failed .I have order this , coming next week , then Ill drive her and see what happens .
