So I’ve had this issue for about 2-3 years. On a cold start (only is outside temp it’s below 10 degrees) I leave my car on for about a minute then drive down to the end of my street (about 20ft) and come to stop to take a turn. When I come to a stop the car turns off then I have to restart it by turning the ignition then drive off. For the rest of the journey it’s fine and never had any other issues.
Today the same thing happened however, the reserve fuel light also came on and there’s plenty of fuel in the tank. Again restarted and everything was fine, car drove fine and reserve fuel light just went off immediately after the message appeared.
I’m struggling to think what this could be. Is it normal becuase it’s a diesel and it needs time for the fuel to go through the system after starting before stopping so quick?
FYI I had glow plugs and relay & boost pipe replaced a few weeks ago so we can rule these out.
Thanks in advance!
