Had a bit of an issue servicing rear brakes on a BMW with electric parking brake. I used the battery method to retract the caliper and unfortunately ended up pushing the piston out. This resulted in some fluid loss, after which I managed to rewind the piston in to the caliper with a caliper tool. My question now is - should everything be OK going forward or will seals inside the caliper be damaged? The dust boot wasn't dislodged much at all if this helps.

Should be ok, if the internal seal was damaged you would know about it straight away as it would just leak.

Maybe the best solution would be to scrap it and get a merc 🤔
