Can anyone definatively confirm that the Supercharger pulley on a 2005 W203is the same on a C180k and a C200k? cheers

To be absolutely certain of anything on the EPC the Vin numbers of the actual cars are required. However, doing a general search on model number shows the pulley to not be a separate part from the compressor. Post the first three numbers of your vin..WDB203_ _ _

Cheers Druk. Mine is 203046-. I'm trying to confirm that the C180 and C200 are mechanically identical. Is it hard to check pistons etc? I'm nearly sure that the only difference between them is the ECU which must down only to programming;)

EPC is hard to use to determine design differences as the pics are schematic in nature, however, the compressors on the 180 and 200 look totally different.
203046...(C180) A271-090-26-80
203045...(C200) A111-090-09-80

Pistons.

203046...A271-030-25-17 Piston has combustion space let into crown.
203045...A111-030-55-18 Piston has valve recesses let into crown.

Engines look to be totally different.

Ah could you be comparing the M111 C200 with M271 C180? the facelift C180/C200/C230 all had a M271 engine.....??? He said hopefully:) Thanks for your help!

I probably am but without a vin for both cars I'm not sufficiently up on my C class to know the difference. I just presumed that yours being 046 then the 045 before it on the list was the same but with a different engine, ie, the 200.

Sent you pm.

Edit. Found a C200K WDB203042 which has an M271940 engine which has the same part numbers as the 180 engine for the pistons and compressor. Does you engine number start 271940?
