With the seasons changing I took some time out today to get my car cleaned and protected for the winter. The only bit left is a service and MOT on Monday.

1. Snow foam rinse
2. Jet wash
3. Two bucket wash
4. Jet wash
5. Clayed
6. Snow foam rinse
7. Two bucket wash
8. Dry
9. Wax
10. Paint sealed
11. Individual wheels taken off and cleaned, dried, wax, sealed, tyres dressed

Products used:
Carplan Demon Snow Foam
Carplan Complete Car Wash & Wax
Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit
Autoglym HD Wax
Autoglym Alloy Wheel Seal
Wonder Wheels Paint Sealant
Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tyre Protection
Meguiar's Gold Class Quik Detailer
Simoniz Bug Shifter
Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover

I have also just had my alloys completely refurbished and a new set of tyres to set it all off.

Interior is pretty clean but will vacuum and detail interior tomorrow along with a quick engine clean and seal.

Very shiny indeed - nice one.

Great job, mines having a machine polish tomorrow... I know Vince at Pallas is going to make it look like new

Now that looks very nice indeed.

There is no greater feeling than putting in all that effort and then standing back and seeing such glorious results!

Epic detail day 2

And here's the engine bay, eat your breakfast off it anyone:D

It took approx 6 hours!!

You done well do do that lot in 6hrs. Somehow it takes me about 4 - 5hrs to do a good exterior clean and that doesn't include claying, sealants and engine bay. It does include cleaning my wheels though that take bloody ages to do properly!

On a roll here's another one that I completed today!

Paid it forward for a friend of my wife's. Car hasn't been cleaned in a year. Exterior and interior detail - 8 hours!! Gotta find better things to do on my week off:doh:

Well to tell the truth I actually find this sort of thing really therapeutic. Only downside was my wife's friend is a smoker and it took me 4 hours to remove the tobacco stench and the first thing she did when she got in the car...light up a freakin fag:dk:

Let me know what you think:thumb:
