Hi All,
Had a B Service done at MB Brooklands on Monday, prior to me going there, I looked on the ESS for my car to see what would be done according to the year and mileage, it stated upon other items that the panoramic sunroof should be cleaned and lubricated, at every 3 services, this being the 6th service I thought this to be correct.
Once the service was done, reception called me to say the car was ready, I asked her if they did the sunroof, she said it was not due, unfortunately I did not have time to argue my case there and then, as I was waiting whilst the car was in for the service, and had to leave for work.
Upon my return I sent an email explaining what the ESS which I had stated, and would they look into it, and confirm or deny if I am right or wrong.
They got back to me showing the ESS for my vehicle, and confirmed it wasn’t due, but to pacify my concerns they are happy for it to be done, at no extra charge. (I was on a service plan) I have booked the car in for it to be done.
Any of you knowledgeable people know if the panoramic sunroof is due cleaning and lubricating every 3 years or not. Would there ESS be correct, and mine wrong.
Car has 32k miles, 2017 plate.
