I managed to very slowly bump into a stone pot and this is the result: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

It is the size of my index finger nail, but it seems it is down to the metal.
Would you reckon this is easy to fix and how much would it cost?
Too technical to do it myself?

And while on the subject I got a very noticeable chip on the bonnet, which needs touching up. I got the genuine touch up pen from Mercedes and tried, but failed. Will any body shop do this or I need some sort of a specialist?

I am based in NW London.

Cheers

Any smart repairer should be able to sort the one on the bumper out quite easily, though probably for around £200 or so.

As for the stone chip, the only way to do it yourself is to take your time and build the paint up gently in layers (I usually use a cocktail stick or similar to apply it), rubbing down between coats with very fine paper, then polish it after. This technique may also work on the bumper. It doesn't look to be a metallic paint so you may get away with it.

I don't know where in the NW you are, but there is a very capable (15 year indie, formerly chipsaway) smart repairer called Rob Cairns in Chorley, he'd probably be £100-£150 and no VAT.

It's not me who wants the repair but the OP who is based in North London.

I have my own "pet" body man who's based near me in Bury. I just keep him sweet by feeding him biscuits from time to time :D
