Re: the French Breathalyser Law - Latest info I've heard (from a friend who lives over there) is that enforcement of the law has been delayed indefinitely. It is unclear whether the law is being repealed, or whether the intention is still that it should be enforced at some indeterminate time in the future. I would advise that you check for yourself before going, though.

Due to the nature of the visit I wont be drinking much until Paris. Plus 2 sticks from ebay are £5 so I will just take them! Thanks anyway.

Does anyone know how I can purchase the Emissions sticker for Germany? So far I have to fill out a form and send it back to Germany with a cheque. Which seems very long winded?

Are there lots of places I can purchase from when I arrive?

Easiest way is to take a photocopy of your V5 with you and take that in to an MB dealer who will issue one in about 10 minutes and relieve you of around €6. Very simple and painless.
