Evicting an unwelcome guest

I can't seem to stop any kinds of insects coming into my house at night, so reversing the logic...

Windows open after dark, park next to a bright light.

I'll lend you mrs ted.
She'll bore the fecker to death.

All welcomed suggestions guys, so thanks for that. Even the more drastic ones. :)

I've left the car outside with the sunroof and all the windows open for the last few hours, and will continue with this until the weather turns again. Don't need the car for another day or two but would really like him gone by then...

get someone to sit in the passenger seat and arm them with a rolled up newpaper

I have a mate works for Vauxhalls and they had an Astra back as a warranty claim as it had a horrible smell they could not get identify.
They stripped the car many times and found nothing.
They finally pulled the headlining out and a dead & rotten 4 foot snake fell out.

Well, he seems to have disappeared, though I'm not 100% on this, so it's still fingers crossed. I've not used the car for a couple of days but had the windows open, so hopefully he's taken the hint.

I had an auto spark round yesterday to fix an intermittent fault on the radio, which involved a bit of dash removal. I did warn him that he may get a spectator from the inner dash, though nothing was forthcoming so I'm assuming that he's either gone to pastures new, or that the mothballs got to him, in which case there's going to be a nasty smell for a few weeks until decomposition is complete.

Secretly I'm hoping that he's made a home in next door's X1. :)
