Just returned from my local MB dealership (who incidentally have been fine to deal with). Been through all my receipts as I'm thinking of PXing soon. Since June 2010 said dealership have had £2100 plus of my business

This, on a car that is probably worth just over double that... its not even as if I've had that much done, new brakes, new rear tyres, a ball joint and a couple of services

I know owning (and more importantly looking after one properly) is expensive but I'm wishing I hadn't looked at the receipts now...

Wouldn't change anything like :D

Given that most of the items mentioned are routine service items, the next one will cost you as much.

I'd consider taking it to an Indi - it's reasonable on a £4k car not use the main dealers and wont significantly adjust its value.

From now on Will I may do that, I do get a lovely filter coffee and service with a smile to be fair...

I would also find a good indy.

Your £2100 total would probably be around £1500 or less and will not affect the value of your car.
